Announcements:
- Aug 30: If you are registered for the course, and are logged into Notion with your account, you should see a “Information for UMass students link” below. If you do not, please contact Ke Xiao (email in syllabus).
- Sep 12: Assignment 2 was released, and is due on Sep 18th at 6:00PM. The FAQ page has been updated with new policy. You can visit the FAQ page under Information for UMass students page, and use the 2 google forms to submit questions you may have.
- Sep 18: Assignment 1 grades are published on Gradescope, and the regrade window is open till next Wednesday, Sep 25 at 11:00 AM. Please review and request regrades within the 1-week window if needed.
- Sep 20: Assignment 3 was released, and is due on Oct 2nd at 6:00PM.
- Sep 24: The “Reserve” office hours are open next week on Monday (Sep 30), Tuesday (Oct 1) and Wednesday (Oct 2). See the office hour page for the zoom link and time.
- Sep 27: Assignment 2 grades are published on Gradescope, and the regrade window is open till next Friday, Oct 4th at 11:59 PM. Please review and request regrades within the 1-week window if needed.
- Oct 4: Instructor office hours, in person, Mon Oct 7, 3:30pm-5pm, CICS 208. (You can also join by zoom, zoom ID sent by email.)
- Oct 4: Assignment 4 was released, and is due on Oct 11th at 6:00PM.
- Oct 8: Correction o Assignment 4 - Question 10: The images are RGB images, with 3 color channels, hence each can be treated as a vector of length 9000. No need to convert to grayscale.
- Oct 11: Assignment 3 grades are published on Gradescope, and the regrade window is open till next Friday, Oct 18th at 11:59 PM. Please review and request regrades within the 1-week window if needed.
- Oct 16th: Assignment 5 was released, and is due on Oct 25th at 6:00PM.
- Oct 22nd: Assignment 4 grades are published on Gradescope, and the regrade window is open till next Tuesday, Oct 29th at 11:59 PM. Please review and request regrades within the 1-week window if needed.
- Oct 30th: Assignment 6 was released, and is due on Nov 8th at 6:00PM.
- Nov 6th: Assignment 5 grades are published on Gradescope, and the regrade window is open till next Wednesday, Nov 13th at 11:59 PM. Please review and request regrades within the 1-week window if needed.
- Nov 13th: Assignment 7 was released, and is due on Nov 20th at 6:00PM.
- Nov 18th: Abhinav Agrawal’s office hours cancelled on Monday (Nov 18) between 5pm-6pm, and on Wednesday (Nov 20) between 10:30am-11:30am and 7pm-8pm. Ke Xiao will be hosting one-off office hours on Wednesday (Nov 20) between 9am-10am and 12pm-1pm.
